Return, Refund or Cancellation

Return & Refund Policy for DIY Kits

Every Jalsa Box is carefully curated and packed to deliver a meaningful creative experience. As these kits contain curated materials and consumable art supplies, returns and refunds are governed by the policy below.

Eligibility for Returns / Replacements

Returns or replacements are accepted only in the following cases:

  • The kit is damaged during transit

  • The kit has missing or defective items

  • An incorrect kit has been delivered


To be eligible:

  • The issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • Customers must provide clear photos or an unboxing video as proof

  • The kit must be unused and in original condition


​Only the affected or missing components will be replaced. Replacement of the entire kit is not guaranteed.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund

The following cases are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Change of mind after purchase

  • Delay in opening or using the kit

  • Preference-based dissatisfaction

  • Incorrect delivery address or contact details provided by the customer

  • Kits that are used, opened, or tampered with

  • Kits purchased during sales, promotions, or special offers

  • Digital products, downloadable content, or services (if bundled with DIY kits)

Refund Policy

Refunds are processed only in the following scenarios:

  • The ordered kit is out of stock after payment

  • The order is lost or declared undeliverable by the logistics partner


​Refund details:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only

  • Refund processing time: 7–10 business days from approval

  • Refunds will be processed only after verification and approval, in accordance with Razorpay payment settlement timelines

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the error is from JALSA Art

Order Cancellation

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once placed

  • If a shipment is refused and returned without a valid reason, up to 30% of the order value may be deducted towards shipping, packaging, and handling costs

Shipping & Delivery Responsibility

  • In approved cases of damage or defect, replacement shipping costs will be borne by JALSA Art

  • JALSA Art is not responsible for delivery delays caused by:

    • Courier partners

    • Natural or unforeseen events

    • Incorrect address or contact details shared at checkout

Disputes & Chargebacks

Any disputes or chargebacks raised via payment gateways without first contacting JALSA Art may result in delayed resolution or refund processing. We encourage customers to reach out to us directly for faster support.

How to Raise a Return or Refund Request

Please email us at jalsaart@gmail.com with:

  • Order ID

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photos or an unboxing video

Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.

Final Verification Clause

All decisions regarding returns, replacements, and refunds are subject to verification as per our internal quality, packaging, and delivery checks.

Return & Refund Policy for Programs

At JALSA Art, our programs are thoughtfully designed with structured curricula, limited seats, and dedicated resources. Hence, we follow the policy outlined below:
 

  • Program fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once enrollment is confirmed.

  • Refunds will be considered only if a program is cancelled by JALSA Art due to unforeseen circumstances.

  • If a participant is unable to continue due to personal reasons (schedule changes, loss of interest, relocation, etc.), no refund or credit will be issued.

  • Missed classes are non-refundable, but access to recordings or alternate sessions may be provided where applicable.

  • In case of technical issues from the participant’s end, refunds will not be applicable.
     

By enrolling in a program, parents/participants acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Return & Refund Policy for Workshops

JALSA Art workshops involve advance planning, materials, and instructor bookings. Please review the following:
 

  • Workshop registrations are non-refundable once confirmed.

  • If JALSA Art cancels or reschedules a workshop, participants may choose between:

    • A full refund, or

    • Transfer to another workshop of equal value.

  • If a participant is unable to attend due to personal reasons, no refund will be issued.

  • In some cases, one-time rescheduling or transfer may be allowed if requested at least 48 hours prior, subject to availability.

  • No refunds will be provided for partial attendance or missed workshops.

Important Note

  • All refunds (if applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
